Katherine Olivia Sessions was born in the woods of Northern California. She loved trees, she thought they were her friends. She listened in school and her favorite subject was science. She graduated with a science degree. Instead of staying in California she went to San Diego but there were very little trees. She was a teacher for a few years but she quit being a teacher and was a gardener. There was a fair at a park and she wanted it to be better. So she planted a lot of trees and plants. Some other gardeners helped her plant the trees.Then they had the trees ready in time for the fair. When everybody came the park was beautiful. everybody loved the shade, how cool it was, and many more reasons. People loved the park so much that they kept coming for four and now they still love it. Katherine olivia sessions gave out prizes for the people who helped. Katherine is known as the founder of the park. You can visit the park today it is in San Diego California.
